Dortmund, 08.11.2021 - Last weekend, the exhibition halls of Messe Dortmund were finally filled with vapour again. The VapersCom took place again after a good year and brought the vapour scene to Dortmund. Last year, the vapour community fair was already one of the few consumer fairs that took place after the start of the Corona pandemic. And even then, exhibitors and visitors alike were thrilled that a meeting was possible.

This year, the event was marked by further loosening of the rules. For example, although masks had to be worn on the grounds and the 3G check had to be observed upon entry, there was once again the possibility of removing the masks at seating and loitering areas as well as during sales and advisory talks at the exhibition stand.

The approximately 1,750 participants at the fair visibly enjoyed this newfound freedom in the exhibition halls and, in addition to an exciting and informative stage programme, especially the conversations with the exhibitors and trying out the latest products at the stands.

The more than 60 exhibitors presented the entire range of e-cigarettes, liquids and matching accessories at the trade fair and thus offered the participants an all-round successful trade fair experience. During the days of the trade fair, numerous influencers were on the move at the trade fair, who mainly served the live streams from the trade fair via channels such as Twitch, Instagram or Youtube.

VapersCom Awards were presented in five categories

For the first time, the VapersCom Awards were presented at the vapor trade fair. In five categories, a jury of experts as well as the audience awarded the best products from the

end user's point of view. "This was the first time we implemented this, but definitely not the last," said Katrin Fischer from the VapersCom team. "Everyone involved had a lot of fun with it and the winners were very happy about the award".

Ferhat San, Youtuber and owner of the Dampfdidas channel and shop, is more than satisfied with his first trade fair appearance in Dortmund: "VapersCom was not only Germany's first steam trade fair, it is also my first trade fair as an exhibitor. I will definitely be there again next year."

Martin Lorenc, Managing Director of Ropa GmbH, also has a thoroughly positive view of the trade fair appearance in Dortmund: "We come from Austria. VapersCom 2021 is a high priority for us because we can achieve a great deal of coverage in North Rhine-Westphalia. We have received very good feedback on our new products and are positively surprised by the appearance of so many retailers."

Daniel Engler, Managing Director of VapeHansa GmbH, mentions above all the many personal conversations and direct exchange: "VapersCom 2021 is very well organised and also gives us above all a familiar feeling. You meet an open audience here that doesn't shy away reflexively, but rather aggressively seeks contact and conveys interest. We are happy about such a clientele that is eager to buy and enjoy the conversation with you. We want to come back next year even better positioned and more present. VapersCom 2021 really made us feel positive about this."

Tom from Essen also travelled to Dortmund for the VapersCom: "The vapour community has been meeting in Dortmund since last year and this year in particular, you could see how much people were looking forward to each other. Finally, you could meet face-to-face again, try out products and vape together. The stage programme was great and I'm already looking forward to next year's VapersCom."

The next VapersCom at Messe Dortmund will take place from 5 - 6 November 2022.
